# Listening Diary 20241206
Posted on Fri 06 December 2024 in [Listening Diary](https://simongreenwood.me.uk/category/listening-diary.html)
Mostly Bandcamp listening for #BandcampFriday, if you posted them, thanks.
- Pye Corner Audio - Deep Lake Drift - [https://pyecorneraudio.bandcamp.com/track/deep-lake-drift](https://pyecorneraudio.bandcamp.com/track/deep-lake-drift): in which The Head Technician puts out a track for Bandcamp Friday as usual, and this time it's practically a techno banger, if the dancefloor was haunted
- MiDi BiTCH - Hyperborea - [https://cyclicaldreams.bandcamp.com/album/hyperborea-cyd-0121](https://cyclicaldreams.bandcamp.com/album/hyperborea-cyd-0121): Modern widescreen Berlin School electronics that wouldn't be out of place on DiN or other electronic labels.
- Fastachee - third places - [https://fastachee.bandcamp.com/album/third-places](https://fastachee.bandcamp.com/album/third-places): For want of pigeonhole I'd call this post-rock, (mostly) instrumental guitar lead with interesting synths and glitchy bits. Well worth some more listening.
- DebonaireToast - Lithopedion EP - [https://debonairetoast.bandcamp.com/album/lithopedion-ep](https://debonairetoast.bandcamp.com/album/lithopedion-ep): Ruminatory dark ambient with percussive overtones. 'Litho' made me think of the lithophone in one of our local museums, a xylophone made of tuned stones, and there are elements of that here.
